Coaxial cable joint box consists of inner joint,protective cast iron box and complete mounting material. INNER JOINT FOR COAXIAL CABLE WITH LEAD SHEATH Inner coaxial cable joint is made of sheet brass 1 mm thickness and consists of a cylinder and two funnels being jointed together with plates (rails).Cylinder is provided with an outler where a valve or pressure gauge can be connected depending on the system of gass control. The entire surface of cable joint box is tinned by hot treatment in order to give the appropriate protection against crrosion. Inner coaxial cable joint is made in two sizes: for cable with two and four coaxial tubes.
INNER JOINT FOR COAXIAL CABLE WITH ALUMINIUM SHEATH
Protective (outer) joint box is made of grey cast iron and consists of the upper and lower part,two binding rings and a cover which can be of various highness depending on whether the inner joint box is provided with valve or pressure gauge.The entire surface of cable joint box is coated with bitumen in order to protect it against corrosion.
