APPLICATION
Portable drum with extension cord art. 790 is intended for connecting one or two electrical appliances of the corresponding power consumption removed from socket-outlets built in permanent electrical installations. It is used in household, exibition and fair rooms, photo and cinema studious, services, and garages i. e. in the whole range of general purposes where according to the regulations the applicance of special connecting accessory is not requested.
While connecting the electrical appliances with total power consumption over 700 W, it is necessary
to unwind the complete length of flexible cord from the portable drum.
Construction
Portable drum with extension cord is made of body of portable drum, flexible cord and non-rewirable plug. The body of the portable drum is made of qualitative plastics. On the body of portable drum there is a handle for carrying drum and handles for unwinding and winding up the flexible cable.
At the lateral side of the portable drum body, double or single two-pole socket-outlet 10/16 A, 250 V with earthing contact depending on variant of manufacture is installed.
Inside portable drum body flexible cable of defined length and size is wound up, connected to installed socket-outlets by one end and having non-rewirable two-pole plug 10/16 A 250 V with earthing contact on the other.
The construction of portable drum with extension cord is in compliance with JUS N.E0.350, and made to provide complete and easy unwinding and winding of flexible cable, having at the same time high and harmonious design.
