Application
Extension drum is used as a coupler in lines
for connecting electrical appliances of low voltage upto 250 V and corresponding power consumption in industry, civil engineering, services, garages, temporary sites, mobile workshops and radio and TV units, farms, household, camps and whole range of general purposes where according to the regulations the application of special connecting accessory is not requested.
Construction
Extension drum has the shape of a reel on which
a flexible cable of a certain length is wound up. At the front side of of a drum two or three socket-outlets are built in depending on type of drum. Socket-outlets are connected to the flexible conductor with
a non-rewirable plug on its second end.
The construction of drum is in compliance with JUS N.E0.350 and is made such that provides easy unwinding and winding up of a conductor on a drum as well as carrying and setting a drum.
