PVC INSULATED HOOK-UP STRANDS LiY

APPLICATION PVC
Insulated hook-up strands, type LiY, for working voltages up to 450 V, are used for obtaining internal wirings in telecommunication, measuring, signalling and appliances of similar type.
Maximum working temperature of PVC Insulation is 70° C.
As per buyer's request, hook-up strands may be manufactured with PVC insulation for 105°C, which should be stated in the order.

CONSTRUCTION
Conductor: Copper strand of tinned soft annealed copper wire.
Insulation: Seamless layer of PVC compound in standard colours.

PACKING
Hook-up strands type LiY are packed in tightly bound coils or on reels. Factory lengths are 100 mts and multiples of a 100 mts.

MARKING
In technical and other documentation and in orders hook-up wires type LiY are marked as:
Hook-up wire LiY - pB where
p - is nominal cross-section of conductor in mm2 and
B - colour of insulation.
