Round and waterproof connectors Circular 4 - Way Connectors With 2 Identical Connectors Which Are Neither Male Nor Female Up To 120 Khz(Sealed) Application These connectors are foreseen for indoor and outdoor use, heavy applications and are a reliable coupling device between connectors. They serve in electronic and telecommunication units for interconnection and contuniation of cables. They are specially intended for jointing light field HF four-case cables at operating frequency renge up to 120 kHz. They are available in two standard types, for cable and chassis applications Galvanized connection and electromagnetic shield for both cable-to-cable and chassis coupling is achieved by suitable elements accommodeted in connector housing for cable with threadded connector coupling. Connector fully meets SNO 0013 requirements. Housing Made of galvanized plated copper alloy resistent to aggressive ambient. Connector cable type housing is designed in such a way that it can be coupled with other identical housing either male or female. Two identical cable type connector can therefore be interconnected. Cable -to-cable coupling is very efficient and easy to handle. Connector chassis type housing has coupling section identical with connector housing for cable and can be coupled together. Insulators Insulators are made of diallylphtalate and special rubber. They can be set in housing in one single position only. Contacts Contacts are made of hard gold plated copper alloy. Cable entry For cable -to-cable connector with suitable housing construction which serves for cable entry the following characgteristics are provided: - ensuring against pulling the cable out from connector at axial strength of 1000 N. - connector sealing at immersion in water up to 150 cm. depth. - galvanization coupling of cable braid on connector housing. In this respect the continuation of galvanized coupling and electromagnetic cable protection is provided. Covers Connectors are supplied with the corresponding covers which protect contacts when unmated. CHARACTERISTICS
