Miniature Circular Connectors
with crimp contacts
Mimiature circular connetores series 32 for application in professonal stationariy and mobile units and id difficult evironmental conditions, are used for interconnecting casble to cable or cable to unit or parts of the units with wires and single conductors.
Rear release crimp contacts and their retention clips enable easy and fast change of any contact. Crimp joint which makes connection between conductor and contact provides far better endurance to vibrations than the joint made by soldering.
Thanks to their reduced volume and performances, connectors of this series are suitable to be built in professonal appliances for operation on the land, on vesseis and aircrafts, where they procure faulltless operation of electical connections.
Their characteristics fully meet the requirements of the following standards: MIL-C-26 482G series 1 , VG 95 328, IEC 130-7, JUS N.R4.141, JUS N.R4.142, JUS N.R4.143, SNO 5181 and they are prlduced against >SOURIAU<. They can also be matted with corresponding connectors series 12.
Construction
Connector pair consistes of: ploug (connector with male contacts), receptacle (connector with female contacts).
Plug or receptacle consists of: metal shell rubber insulating insert with retention clips contacts (male and female) accessories (caps).
Depending on its function, connector can be: panel mounting connector cable plug (free connector0 cable connecting receptacle.
Shell
Metal shell is made of light metals alloy, protected by cadmium and chromatic plating, in olive-green colour.
Panel mounting shells:
A - with square mounting flange - without back-shell

jam nut receptacle - with back-shell
Cable mounting shell:

All above mentioned styles of hells are made in 9 sizes: 08, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22 and 24. Shell of any style or size can be equiped with male or female contacts.
Locking
Electrical and mechanical circuit current connectors are provided by mating of onnector pair (plug - receptacle and by locking.
Locking is a three-point bayonet coupling which provides:
easy and quick mating
vibration stability
dust resistance
acoustical and optical locking control.
Rapid locking is provided by a fast helical ramp bayonet locking ring on the plug. This couples to three dowel pegs on the receptacle.
On the ends of bayonet ramps are three holes ensuring locking and visual control.
Five keys on a plug connector and corresponding five key-ways on receptacle part, ensure proper guiding, not allowing mismating.
Connector with metal shell size 12 and contact arrangement, besides standard shell, can have shell with moved keys and key-ways in regard to standard position. Marking of this shell is 12 M. Connector with this shell and contact arrangement 002 can not be mated with connector having standard shell size 12 and same contact arrangement.
