Miniature round waterproof conectors with soldering and crimping contactsi Miniature Circular Connectors
Miniature circular connectors Series 12 are for application in stationary and mobile units and in very unfavourable ambient conditions (high humidity, vibration, quick temperature changes, etc.) used for cable interconnection or cable units. They can be used for interconnection of cabinets and panels with cables, wires and single insulated conductors. Due to their reduced volume, pefrrmances and general characteristics , connectors of this series are cuitable for employing into units at land, vessels and aircrafts. They fully meet MIL-C-26482-G, Series 1, VG 95-328, DEF 59-35, IEC 130-7 and are manufactured against licence, agreement by Souriau. Construction Construction pair consists of a plug (connector with male contacts) and receptacle (with female contacts). Plug or receptacle consists of: - Metal shell - Rubber insulator - - Contacts (male and female) - Accessories (cap) Depending of function connector can be performed as - Mounting board (panel) connector - Mountig cable connector (released) - Cable continuation connector Shell Metal shell is of light metal alloy with cadmium and chromate protective finish in grey-olive colour. Borad mounting shells: A - for mounting with square flange - withour insulator B - for mounting with square flange - with insulator C - for nut mounting - with insulator Mounting cable shells E - for cable mounting (released) F -for cable continuation All above stated shell classes are made in 9 sizes: 08, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24. Shells regardless of class and size can be mounted with male or female contacts. Locking Electrical and mechanical circuit current connections are provided by mating of connector pair (plug-receptacle) and by locking. Locking is three-point bayonet coupling which provides: easy and quick mating vibration stability dust resistance acoustic and optic locking control. Bayonet perfrmed with 3 plugs on connector shell for board mounting and cable continuation and 3 spiralchamfers on clamping grommet on released connector. At terminations of spiral chamfers are three circular holes which provide locking position and visual sealing control. Five non-symmetrical longitudinal plugs on released connector shell and the equal number of parallel chamfers on connector shell for panel mounting and cable continuation provide a properguiding, not allowing mismating. Insulator Insulator is of a signale part polychloroprene and fixed to shell by sticking. It was non-changeable contacts for the purpose of preventing non-desirable mating with adjacent connector of the same size and the same contact arrangement it can be turned is shell for W, X, Y, Z angle. It is recommended the use of normal position, if possible Insulator face with male contacts
